Features

25mm Athermalized Lens with a Narrower Field of View

The module features a 25mm F1.0 athermalized lens with a 17.46° horizontal and 14.01° vertical field of view. Compared with wider-angle thermal modules, this configuration provides more focused coverage of a selected observation area, making it relevant to thermal imaging systems with defined viewing requirements.

640×512 Thermal Imaging with 25fps Output

Equipped with a 12μm VOx uncooled infrared detector, the module delivers 640×512 thermal images at 25fps. Its NETD of ≤40mK (F1.0, 25°C), intelligent gain control, detail enhancement, and 3D noise reduction support thermal image adjustment and temperature difference observation.

Multi-Area Temperature Measurement

The module supports up to 10 temperature measurement areas, with full-screen maximum and minimum temperature positioning. Available measurement ranges include -20°C to 150°C and 0°C to 550°C, with an optional 400°C to 1600°C range. This allows equipment developers to select suitable measurement configurations for different temperature conditions.

UVC Output and Equipment Integration

The camera supports UVC output and optional BT.1120, BT.656, MIPI, DVP, HDMI, and USB interfaces. It also provides one alarm input and one alarm output, operates on DC 12V, and consumes ≤0.8W, offering integration options for compatible thermal imaging equipment.

Applications

Fixed-Area Thermal Inspection

The 25mm lens provides a narrower field of view for thermal inspection systems focused on selected areas. Its 640×512 resolution and automatic focusing function offer imaging options for equipment designed to observe temperature distribution within a defined field of view.

Industrial Multi-Point Temperature Monitoring

With support for 10 temperature measurement areas and full-screen maximum/minimum temperature positioning, the module can be considered for industrial temperature monitoring equipment. The optional 400°C to 1600°C measurement range provides an additional configuration option for high-temperature measurement applications.

Integrated Thermal Monitoring Systems

The module supports UVC output, optional video interfaces, and one alarm input and output. These features make it relevant to developers integrating thermal imaging and temperature measurement into compatible monitoring and inspection equipment.

FAQ

How does the 25mm lens differ from the 13mm thermal imaging module?
The 25mm model provides a narrower field of view of 17.46° × 14.01°, compared with 32.91° × 26.59° on the 13mm version. The 25mm model is more suitable for systems requiring focused observation of a smaller area at the same working distance.

How many temperature measurement areas does the module support?
The module supports up to 10 temperature measurement areas, along with full-screen maximum and minimum temperature positioning.

Can this thermal module measure temperatures up to 1600°C?
An optional 400°C to 1600°C measurement range is available. The standard listed ranges are -20°C to 150°C and 0°C to 550°C. The required temperature range should be confirmed when selecting the module configuration.

What is the temperature measurement accuracy?
The specified accuracy is ±2°C or ±2% of the reading, whichever is greater. Actual measurement performance depends on the measurement conditions and selected configuration.

What should be checked before integrating this UVC thermal module?
Buyers should confirm the required output interface, DC 12V power supply, module dimensions of 63.2 × Φ41mm, and weight of 110g. Future Vision can be contacted to discuss the available configuration and technical documentation.
