Equipped with a 1/1.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, the camera delivers 4MP video at 2688 × 1520 resolution and 25/30fps. The higher pixel resolution provides additional image detail compared with 2MP models, making it relevant to surveillance systems requiring detailed scene observation and image review.
The 6–330mm lens provides 55X optical zoom and 16X digital zoom, with a field of view from 66° to 1.4°. This combination allows operators to begin with broader scene coverage and progressively narrow the view for detailed observation without changing camera modules.
The camera supports Super Starlight imaging, with minimum illumination specifications of 0.0005 Lux in color and 0.0001 Lux in black-and-white mode at F1.4 with AGC ON. Combined with 120dB WDR, 3D DNR, and automatic day/night switching, these functions support imaging under varying lighting conditions.
The camera supports H.265/H.264 encoding, three video streams, and four ROI areas for flexible video configuration. It also provides 500 presets, eight cruise scans, VISCA/Pelco-D/P protocols, and multiple IP-based output options for integration into compatible PTZ camera systems.

What resolution does the 55X Super Starlight Zoom Block Camera support?
The camera supports 4MP resolution at 2688 × 1520 pixels, with a main-stream frame rate of 25fps (50Hz) or 30fps (60Hz). It also supports 1920 × 1080 and 1280 × 720 output resolutions.
What is the advantage of the 55X camera's 6–330mm focal length?
The 6–330mm lens provides 55X optical zoom, with a field of view ranging from 66° to 1.4°. This allows users to switch between broad scene observation and narrower telephoto viewing within the same camera module.
How does this 4MP camera differ from a 2MP zoom block camera?
The 4MP model provides 2688 × 1520 resolution, offering more pixels than a standard 1920 × 1080 2MP camera. This can provide additional image detail for surveillance and image review, depending on the lens setting and viewing conditions.
Does the camera support low-light surveillance?
Yes. The camera has specified minimum illumination levels of 0.0005 Lux in color and 0.0001 Lux in black-and-white mode at F1.4 with AGC ON. It also supports 120dB WDR, 3D DNR, and automatic day/night switching.
What output configurations are available for equipment integration?
The camera supports IP, IP+LVDS, IP+MIPI, IP+HDMI, IP+SDI, and IP+CVBS configurations. Future Vision also provides OEM/ODM customization services for compatible camera integration requirements.
