Introduction

The USB infrared movement is a core component designed specifically for various devices that require infrared thermal imaging function. It supports HDMI and USB high-definition digital video output, center point temperature measurement, and outputs the maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and average temperature of the output area. It is also equipped with UART communication interface. This movement integrates advanced infrared detection technology and image processing algorithms, which can be widely used in many fields such as medical health, smart furniture, industrial temperature measurement, etc. It helps users quickly and accurately obtain the thermal information of target objects, so as to perform state monitoring, fault diagnosis, target recognition and other operations.

Features

1280×1024 High-Resolution Thermal Imaging

Equipped with a 12μm uncooled VOx infrared detector, the camera delivers 1280×1024 thermal imaging with a frame rate of up to 50Hz. Compared with 640×512 thermal modules, its higher detector pixel count provides more thermal image sampling points for observing scene details.

25–225mm 9X Optical Zoom for Adjustable Observation

The camera features a 25–225mm optical zoom lens with a field of view ranging from 17.4° × 14.0° to 1.9° × 1.5°. Its 9X optical zoom enables equipment operators to adjust between wider thermal scene coverage and focused observation without changing the lens.

Autofocus and Thermal Image Processing

The module supports autofocus, with a focusing range of 5m to infinity at 25mm and 15m to infinity at 225mm. Shutterless image processing, digital noise filtering, and non-uniformity correction provide additional thermal image adjustment capabilities.

HDMI/UVC Output with Temperature Measurement

The camera provides HDMI and UVC video output, a USB 3.0 interface board, and UART communication at TTL 3.3V. It supports center-point temperature measurement over a specified range of -20°C to 100°C, with an accuracy of ±3°C or ±3%, supporting integration into compatible thermal monitoring equipment.

Multi-channel HD Video Output

Supports HDMI & USB dual high-definition digital video output for flexible display and data access.

Comprehensive Temperature Measurement Function

Built-in center point temperature measurement; real-time output of maximum, minimum and average temperature within the detection area.

Applications

High-Resolution Thermal Observation Systems

The 1280×1024 detector and 9X optical zoom lens make this camera relevant to thermal observation equipment requiring both broader scene coverage and detailed viewing of selected areas. The adjustable field of view allows operators to adapt the thermal image to different observation requirements.

Industrial Thermal Inspection Equipment

The camera supports center-point temperature measurement from -20°C to 100°C, together with maximum, minimum, and average temperature data described in the original Features. These capabilities can be considered for equipment condition monitoring and non-contact thermal inspection systems.

HDMI/UVC Thermal Imaging Integration

With HDMI/UVC output, USB 3.0 and UART communication, the camera provides integration options for compatible display systems, industrial computers, and custom thermal imaging equipment. Its optical zoom and autofocus functions support applications requiring adjustable thermal viewing.

FAQ

How does the 1280×1024 thermal camera differ from a 640×512 model?
The 1280×1024 detector provides four times as many thermal pixels as a 640×512 detector. This allows more thermal image sampling points, although actual target detail also depends on the lens, observation distance, and operating conditions.

What is the optical zoom range of this thermal camera?
The camera features a 25–225mm lens with 9X optical zoom. Its field of view ranges from 17.4° × 14.0° at the wide end to 1.9° × 1.5° at the telephoto end.

Does the camera support HDMI and UVC output?
Yes. The camera supports HDMI/UVC digital video output, a USB 3.0 interface board, and UART communication at TTL 3.3V for compatible equipment integration.

What temperature measurement functions are available?
The camera supports center-point temperature measurement from -20°C to 100°C, with a specified accuracy of ±3°C or ±3%. The original Features also list maximum, minimum, and average temperature data output.

What should buyers consider before integrating this camera?
Buyers should review the module dimensions, 3690g weight, DC12V ±10% power supply, 5.8W maximum power consumption, video output requirements, and communication interfaces. Future Vision can provide the product datasheet for integration evaluation.
