The camera features a 6–576mm lens with 96X optical zoom and 16X digital zoom. Its field of view ranges from 66° at the wide end to 0.79° at the telephoto end, allowing surveillance systems to switch from broad scene observation to highly focused viewing of distant areas.
Equipped with a 1/1.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, the module supports 2688 × 1520 resolution at 25/30fps. Super Starlight imaging, 120dB WDR, and 3D DNR provide image adjustment capabilities for low-light and high-contrast surveillance environments.
The camera supports electronic anti-shake, distortion correction, shadow correction, and electronic defog, with optional optical defog. These functions provide additional image adjustment options when operating at high zoom levels or under changing visibility conditions.
With 500 presets, eight cruise scans, a standard 36-pin interface, and multiple IP-based output configurations, the camera supports integration into compatible PTZ and long-range surveillance systems. VISCA and Pelco-D/P protocols and SDK support provide further options for camera control and equipment development.

What is the focal length and field of view of the 96X zoom block camera?
The camera features a 6–576mm lens with 96X optical zoom and 16X digital zoom. Its field of view ranges from 66° at the wide-angle end to 0.79° at the telephoto end.
How does the 96X model differ from the 55X 4MP zoom block camera?
Both models support 4MP imaging and Super Starlight technology. The 96X model offers a longer 576mm telephoto focal length compared with 330mm on the 55X model, making it more suitable for applications requiring a narrower viewing angle.
Is the 96X camera suitable for long-range perimeter monitoring?
Yes. Its 96X optical zoom, 576mm telephoto lens, and 4MP resolution make it relevant to long-range perimeter observation. Actual usable monitoring distance depends on target size, lighting, atmospheric conditions, and the complete camera system.
What are the camera's resolution and frame rate?
The camera supports 2688 × 1520 resolution at 25fps in 50Hz mode or 30fps in 60Hz mode. It also supports H.265/H.264 video encoding and three video streams.
What should be considered when integrating this camera into a PTZ system?
System integrators should review the module dimensions (175.5 × 75 × 78mm), power requirements (DC12V ±10%), mounting arrangement, video output configuration, and control protocol compatibility. Future Vision also supports OEM/ODM customization for different integration requirements.
